The bikes used on Nitro Circus Live’s recent European tour have been stolen after the container they were being carried in was broken into.
As many as 10 bikes are believed to have been taken at some point in the last two weeks while they were waiting in port to return to the US. Among the machines taken is a one-of-a-kind prototype kevlar-bodied Suzuki used by Travis Pastrana, and a bike used by Jarryd McNeil to win multiple X Games gold medals.

“The shipping container coming back from Europe was broken into and all the bikes were stolen,” Pastrana said in an Instagram post. “The shipping port said some thieves got ‘lucky’ and broke into one of the 10 or so nitro containers which just so happened to have the motorcycles in it and took off with the lot.”
“I personally haven’t gotten a free motorcycle since 2008 and half the guys who ride on Nitro have bought every bike that they have ever owned,” explained Pastrana. “Plus they don’t make Suzuki two-strokes any more.”
“I still have every bike I’ve won a gold medal on and now McNeil won’t have the bike with most of his golds.”

Speculation is suggesting that the crime was planned beforehand, with only the container carrying the tour’s motorcyles being broken into out of the 10 that were carrying the tour’s equipment.
“Funny how the world works, in the last two weeks I’ve posted pics of friends bikes [in Australia] that had been stolen,” said Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, who also had a bike stolen. “Then I get a phone call last night from Nitro that the shipping container coming back from Europe was broken into and all the bikes were stolen approximately two weeks ago.”
Nitro Circus Live’s ‘You Got This’ European tour visited Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and London in the UK, plus Stockholm in Sweden and Paris, France.
